Wisconsin School Information
University of Wisconsin System
The UW System has a total of 26 campuses. Half of the campuses are 2-year, while the other half is 4-year schools. The UW system has a guaranteed transfer program from the 2 year campus into a 4 year campus. This is a great program for students who need a smaller classroom setting, less tuition and more guidance in the first few years of their college experience.
Wisconsin Private Colleges & Universities
There are 20 private colleges and universities in Wisconsin, offering a diverse range of majors to meet the needs of most students. This link offers access to information and admissions applications for independent colleges and universities within Wisconsin.
The 16 tech colleges equip graduates with real world, hands-on experience they apply to specific occupations that provide us all with security and quality of life. Minnesota/Wisconsin Reciprocity
Minnesota/Wisconsin Tuition Reciprocity
The states of Wisconsin and Minnesota have a reciprocity agreement, meaning that students can pay in-state tuition costs when attending schools in Minnesota, which is often a substantial savings over having to pay out-of-state tuition. Students need to fill out a form requesting that this be done. The form is usually available starting in April of the same year.
