An option for people eighteen years of age or older who would like to receive their high school diploma. Credits earned from WBHS will transfer to help earn an Adult High School diploma.

This program allows public high school juniors and seniors who meet certain requirements to take post-secondary courses at colleges and universities in Wisconsin. Approved courses count toward high school graduation and college credit. Under Youth Options, a student does not pay for a college course if the school board (Principal) determines the course qualifies for high school credit and is not comparable to a course already offered in the school district. If approved by the school board, the student can receive both high school and college credit upon completion of the course. Interested students must apply to the educational institution and complete the Youth Options Application before March 1 if interested in taking fall semester classes. The applications must be completed by October 1 if interested in taking spring semester classes.

The National Honor Society (NHS) is a national organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

This is a program designed to engage students at all levels. Students can utilize it as a credit recovery option.  Students who are credit deficient in academic courses and other courses can enroll in this program. Each student must meet the requirements for this program. Please contact your school counselor or administrator for more information.

Weekly Monitor

The Weekly Monitor program is used to help you, as parents, become aware on a weekly basis how your child is performing in school. Your child can participate in the Weekly Monitor program either through a request from the teacher or from you. The program works by your child picking up the Weekly Monitor from the Counseling Office on Friday mornings and throughout the day, presenting it to the teachers for them to sign, state his/her grade for the week, any missing assignments, behavioral comments as well as any other information that the teacher feels you should know. Please call the High School Counseling Office if you have any questions or concerns regarding the Weekly Monitor or your child.
